According to GOST 19179—83 «Land hydrology. Terms and definitions» a river is called small if it is located in one geographical area, has length no more than 100 km, and its basin area does not exceed 2000 km2. There are more than 2.5 million such rivers in our country, that is approximately 99% of the country's rivers. If logging is carried out near even a small river (the probability of that is extremely high with the density of the river network in our country), then the energy of moving water can be converted into electrical energy with little financial cost. The received electric energy will be sufficient for the operation of mobile woodworking machines of forest terminals. At the same time, the air in an area will not be additionally polluted by combustion products of internal combustion engine fuel and wood combustion products. A logging company will be able, at a small additional cost, to provide work with a waste-free technology, with profit extraction due to the processing of wood under conditions of non-permanent timber warehouses. A method to glue floor wood covers, using a pass-through press is proposed. To removal the pressure variation effecting on polythick wood covers, it was proposed to use rubber pads based on sponge rubber which are glued on the working faces of tracks. By experiments, values of the real variation of thicknesses of parquet straps and the mechanical characteristics of elastic pads were determined. The construction of a drum-type furnace is widespread in the field of processing and production of building materials. However, there is a series of complex mechanical, chemical processes and problems taking place at the stage of designing and modernization. The study of different processes connected with the elasticity theory, kinematics, the contact interaction is difficult. The interaction of external forces causing construction deformation has main significance for operation of equipment and the contact interaction of its components. In modern electronic equipment there is often a reduction problem of voltage. Conservation of output voltage stabilization is the most common problem. As a result of the comparison of stabilizers, the preference was given to pulse ones. An electronic component base was selected and a circuit of a step-down pulse DC / DC converter was developed. its research was carried out. The obtained values indicate the correct choice of circuit components. The developed circuit of the step-down pulse DC / DC converter provides a halving of the output voltage; optimal ratio of the ripple amplitude and the duration of the transient process with the selected choke and capacitor; high level of efficiency = 95%. The developed converter allows one to work with a wide range of input voltages: the input voltage can be lower than the output voltage or much lower. This is a significant advantage of pulse converters as compared with linear converters. Also, the converter has a high efficiency = 95%. The results of theoretical and experimental studies of solders based on an iron — carbon alloy which allows one to implement the process of strengthening the working bodies (hammers) of feed crushing machines with a carbide element (VK6, VK8) by soldering are presented. In addition, the basic requirements and methods for obtaining iron-carbon solder of a certain composition, with specified technological properties were justified. The «hard alloy—steel» joint formed by iron-carbon solder meets the conditions of the diffusion interaction of solder with soldered materials and the formation of graphite—pearlite—cementite microstructure of the joint, which ensures the high quality of soldered joint.
